Je m’en sers depuis 25 ans et n’ai jamais connu la moindre défaillance. Comme le Pitzen coulisse, il est facile de le faire sans piéger les fibres de dubbing ou pattes.
Pour enlever votre nymphe, il suffit de positionner le noeud sur l’oeillet de façon à pouvoir couper le nylon uniquement.
NOEUD POUR ATTACHER LA POINTE:
Je l’appelle le “noeud SBN”. Un peu moins discret que le double chirurgien mais beaucoup plus costaud et régulier. C’est un peu difficile à réaliser mais ça vaut le coup d’insister!
Sincèrement, si vous voulez limiter les poissons perdus sur casse, je vous conseille fortement ces deux noeuds par excellence.
KNOTS (English):
The best knot to tie your fly on with is the Pitzen (or 16/40) knot.
It is very strong and discreet and, being a slip knot, allows you to draw the knot up into position without trapping the legs or thorax fibres. Take care not to cut legs/material off when removing knot. Simply rotate the knot around the hook eye into a position where only the knot is exposed before cutting.
To attach the tippet to your leader I strongly recommend the “J” knot:

It’s not the easiest to tie, and certainly not the prettiest, but it hangs on! For added strength I take a full turn around the standing line before tying the knot.
